Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on consumer credit, FCA regulatory matters and Financial Ombudsman Service complaints.
- Support on multiple commission disclosure claims and complaints made by claims management companies including related county court claims and litigation.
- Proactively identify and advise on potential consumer credit and associated regulatory risks and issues.=
Requirements:
- University degree (honours) and one year post graduate legal qualification (Legal Practice Course, Bar Practitioners Training Course or equivalent), including, as appropriate, compulsory post LPC completion of Law Society’s Professional Skills Course and Law Society’s Management Stages 1 and
- Successful completion of two year training contract and admission to the Roll of Solicitors and/or successful completion of one year pupillage and call to the Bar with evidence of compulsory accredited continuing professional development, with renewal of practising certificate/s annually.
- 2-4 years post qualification experience in financial services.
