Job Responsibilities:

• Prior Experience in substation projects from 33kV to 132kV voltage levels in Middle East.
• Design of HVAC / MEP systems from concept to final construction drawing.
• Calculation of Cooling and Heating load using carrier software E-20 and HAP.
• Psychometric analysis for cooling, dehumidification etc.
• Sizing and Selection of Equipment such as package unit, Chiller, AHU, Pumps, Motors, valves/fittings air terminal devices etc.
• Development of Control Schemes for HVAC
• Analysis of Hazard classification of areas to be protected.
• Hydraulic calculation, Flow calculation.
• Design of Building storm drainage, Foul drainage, Plumbing systems
• Liaison with other discipline, consultant, client and participate in client meeting, site construction meeting.
• Supervise and guide designer for CAD drafting and site engineer for inspection

Job Requirements:

• Must have Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in FPS and MEP related works particularly in substation projects ranging from 33kV to 132kV voltage levels in middle east.
• Membership of U.A.E Society of Engineers will be an added advantage
• Should have experience of working within an ISO & QA environment.
• Must be competent in written and spoken English.
• Must have capable communications skills.
• Must be capable of managing personal time allocation for designing systems and design reviews.
• The above are basic requirements of Engineer. Any additional knowledge on the latest technological developments will an added advantage.
