Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist in the implementation of all environmental educational and awareness programs in the DDCR Visitor Centre.
- Regularly monitor the conservation programmes and ecological work within Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve (DCCR) (225km2) ensuring the restoration and well being of the flora, and fauna which includes wildlife, domestic animals, general maintenance and upkeep of related facilities
- Monitor the activites of the approved tour operators in the DDCR including regular inspections of their safari routes and campsite while ensuring compliance to the DDCR Regulations. Implement warnings and fines for non-compliance will be necessary.
- Responsible of monitoring and supervising any company or contractor implementing projects within the DDCR while ensuring compliance with DDCR regulations and the approved parameters of their project.
Job Requirements:
- Facilities/Maintenance.Other : 3+ Years
- 10 Years schooling or equivalent
- Minimum A level with 4 years experience or O level with 6 years of experience.
- Diploma or Degree in Ecology, Biological Sciences, with experience in the conservation field
