Description:

Assists the business in developing and maintaining a unique corporate branding strategy and creating an effective brand image in line with the desired brand positioning. Oversees publication activities by drafting and reviewing content, material to be printed and other promotional items used for corporate branding. Plans and illustrates concepts by designing layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetics. Coordinates with corporate affairs and other internal teams in the design concept phase through completion of a project.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the business in developing and maintaining a unique corporate branding strategy and creating an effective brand image in line with the desired brand positioning.
• Oversees publication activities by drafting and reviewing content, material to be printed and other promotional items used for corporate branding.
• Plans and illustrates concepts by designing layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetics.
• Coordinates with corporate affairs and other internal teams in the design concept phase through completion of a project.
• Obtains approval of concepts by preparing rough layouts for review.
• Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
• Obtains final copy and art by making purchases from vendors when required. Coordinates with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc. to complete projects.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.
• Examines existing processes, identifying flaws, and creating solutions to improve design capabilities
• Updates and maintains internal databases of designs, photography, and video

Job Requirements:

• Strong project management and a keen eye for aesthetics with meticulous attention to detail.
• Solid knowledge of design and visual principles.
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, etc.).
• Proficiency with full Microsoft Office suite, and willingness / ability to learn and effectively utilize proprietary software systems.
• Ability to self-direct and work independently, while maintaining productive team relationships with colleagues both inside and outside the organization.
• High level of effective interpersonal skills, ability to maintain effective working relationships and accommodate diverse working styles.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage expectations and the scope and scale of projects.
• Attention to detail composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines, often under pressure.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
