Job Responsibilities:
- Understanding the value of census
- Supporting, influencing and motivating the public to take part in the census
- Delivering and collecting census materials and information to and from households and non-private dwellings, which may include hospitals, residential care facilities, campsites etc.
- You are compliance minded and conscious of data security and personal information
- Have a good knowledge of your local community, and are community-focused and culturally aware
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Job Requirements:
- Level of physical fitness that allows you to walk for long periods of your workday while carrying bags with the required field resources
- Current New Zealand Driver’s Licence (Restricted Licence at a minimum), but not essential
- Also preferred, but not essential, is access to unrestricted use of a secure roadworthy vehicle with a minimum of third-party insurance that you are willing to use for work
- Available to work in temporary roles commencing through January and February to March/ April 2023.
- Right to live and work in Aotearoa New Zealand and willingness to undergo relevant pre-employment checks (essential)
